Dr. Timmerman received his dental degree from Oregon Health Sciences University. He has dedicated his professional career to providing the best that dentistry has to offer. Dr. Timmerman and his staff continually pursue advanced training in the newest dental techniques to offer you and your family comfortable and personalized dental care. In his continuing education, Dr. Timmerman is a graduate of the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. LVI trains dentists to deliver beautiful smiles and help people with uncomfortable TMJ problems find relief. Dr. Timmerman also continues to invest in technology for his office so that he can offer the most comprehensive and comfortable care. Dr. Timmerman is married and has three active daughters who participate in many outdoor activities. He enjoys traveling the world (he even lived in France for two years) and learning world history. He enjoys snow skiing, basketball, and lifting weights, but his passion is the Tour de France and road cycling.
The OTHER Dr Timmerman joined the practice shortly after graduation in 2007. Most of his time is spent at his Iowa Dental Practice, but a few days per month are spent in Seattle, where he shares duties with his older brother.
He earned his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry, Manhattan. Furthermore, he continues to receive postgraduate training at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Advanced training in restorative, aesthetic, and implant dentistry, as well as root canal therapy and Invisalign, allows Dr. Timmerman to work with you on a wide variety of dental concerns, forming a partnership in achieving your optimum oral health. Dr. Timmerman also strongly believes in humanitarian causes and actively participates in volunteer efforts. He’s made a service mission to the Czech Republic, helped the emergency relief efforts for the American Red Cross, and brought dental care to those in need through outreach programs to the Dominican Republic and at clinics and schools in a rural African village in Tanzania.
You can rest assured that while Dr. Timmerman continues to pursue excellence in dentistry, he also places great emphasis on being an honest, gentle, caring dentist who treats his patients, not just their teeth. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs. His hobbies include reading, skiing, hiking/camping, and traveling.
