Teeth Whitening
July 10th, 2009 admin
Many people often wonder how to whiten their teeth for the best results. Nearly every whitening process uses a hydrogen peroxide gel to get results. Some products are Carbamide peroxide but it tends to break down to Hydrogen peroxide. What this means, is that essentially, all the methods of teeth whitening are the same. The oxygenation penetrates into the teeth and their structure and whitens the enamel and dentin. All whitening results are temporary and need to be revisited every now and then to maintain the desired level of whiteness.
Viewing before and after pictures can give patients an idea of how their teeth may look by viewing patients that had similar coloring. One thing to keep in mind however is that all patients are different and results may vary. Contact Dr. Timmerman in Seattle to find out how to get your teeth whitened to your desired color.
